I have a new theory about my treadmill walking and newfound weight loss. It's definitely not for the squeamish.
I tend to eat. Next, I walk on the treadmill. This tends to keep my digestive tract in fine working order. It's my belief that the longer food (calories) are in your stomach, the more of the food is absorbed, and the more food is absorbed, the more calories are input into your system. Therefore, if walking on a treadmill after a meal, hastens the exit of foodstuffs. . . it would seem to me, all else being equal, the less time food is within your digestive track, the fewer calories are absorbed by the body.
I'd be delighted if someone were to confirm this. Otherwise, it'll be nothing more than wide open speculation on my part. . .
