Rough few days.
I learned that my private loan for grad school was denied due to an multi-faceted clusterfuck on my credit report. Basically, it caused my credit report to go from above average to fair. I've demanded a retraction and I plan upon starting a lawsuit in the next few days, but, it's still a big headache and was a big drain when I learned of the problem on Tuesday evening.
I had a sleepless night on Tuesday evening, and spent all of Wednesday looking through my banking records to recreate my billing and payment history with the vendor. Thursday was spent completing the final touches of the letter and mailing it out. I didn't sleep well either night and felt pretty bad about the whole thing (at worst, if the credit reporting agency drags their feet, it could mean I'd have to sit out the fall semester. I have, roughly, 30 days to get it sorted out. It could be that I could involve a co-signer, but that's an ugly solution -- I'd hate to have to go through a bankruptcy adn stick someone else with my debt; or, if I were to die, stick someone else with my debt then too. . .)
RAINBOW
On the rainbow side, I actually met someone today for lunch on a casual date and really enjoyed her company. I'm hoping she enjoyed my company too -- I think she did, but sometimes it's a bit tricky. I left her a voice mail (I'm quite straightforward when interested) and said, hey I really enjoyed seeing you today, and I'd like to see you again -- call me.) It'd be nice to have that all work out. . . here's hopin.
I haven't done any workouts since, I think, Tuesday AM. I think I'm going to get up on the bike today and just take my frustrations out. Tour de FRance starts this weekend which should be pretty fun. Also, I saw some triathlon coverage last night which got me pretty pumped up. I'm still at about 254 or so as of this AM, I'd like to get down below, at least, 250 before I start running, but that's definitely coming soon. . .
