New Personal Bests During Training

I may actually be developing real shape.

I did a three-for yesterday: I rowed 6,000 meters, followed immediately by a 10 mile ride, filed immediatley by a 3.1 mile run. And I personal bested in all 3 events.

I broke the 2:00 per 500 barrier in the 6,000 meter row (the equivalent of breaking 20 mph on a time trial for a bike). I then broke the 20mph barrier on the bike. Next, I ran 3.1 miles, in ~27 mins (for 8:57 per mile pace) -- the fastest training run I've done in years.

So, something is lining up for me. My big xterra triathlon is next week. I'm still trying to decide whether I want to do the big LA tri in mid-september. . . we'll see. . .
