Performance leading to triathlon

I'd like to have a good week of training this week, even though it is technically a rest week. The week has started out well, because I was able to get two workouts in today. Up on the bike for a VERY fast 16 miler -- I raced against my prior race time of 21 mph, and I pulled about an 18 mph average today (though, max 2.1% grade, and mostly downhill).

I feel good about the diet and everything else. I'd like to pull it all together for June/July and just get it all to work together to get me below 200 pounds for beginning school -- and below 20% body fat at that time as well. I think I'm headed in the right direction -- despite a poor showing the last week.

I'm still digging the rowing, I've put in nearly 400,000 meters so far. And I suspect I will meet the 1 million meter row mark in another 3-8 months. I'm still a big believer in the diversity of exercise -- and that it would be good for me.

[As a side note, I saw a cool health and fitness magazine in the office with dude's with crazily developed abs]. I'd like to get there. I think it's all exercise and diet in the end.
